Precision engineering from our Boston, Massachusetts workshop
Orbitone Audio was founded by engineers and musicians with a singular mission: to make authentic, audiophile-grade turntables and hi-fi audio accessible without compromise.
From the CNC machining of our frosted acrylic platters to the delicate hand-wiring of our gimbal tonearms, every Orbitone turntable is built by skilled craftspeople in our Boston studio. We reject mass-produced plastic mechanisms in favor of solid hardwood plinths, inverted stainless steel bearings, and decoupled AC synchronous motors.
In analog audio, every component matters. By keeping signal paths ultra-short, using precision film capacitors in our Pluto preamps, and factory-calibrating high-end cartridges, we deliver an expansive, transparent soundstage with deep bass response and crystal clarity.
